Caroline Myss - Freedom of humbleness, Finding your light, Mystical path and Grace

Evolution & Shift of Consciousness

Caroline Myss is a five-time New York Times bestselling author and internationally renowned speaker in the fields of human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and the science of medical intuition. Caroline established her own educational institute in 2003, CMED (Caroline Myss Education), which offers a diverse array of programs devoted to personal development and draws students from all over the world. In addition to hosting a weekly radio show on the Hay House network, Caroline maintains a rigorous international workshop and lecture schedule.
After completing her Master's degree, Caroline co-founded Stillpoint Publishing and headed the editorial department, producing an average of ten books a year in the field of human consciousness and holistic health. Simultaneously Caroline refined her skills as a medical intuitive, with the assistance of C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D., a Harvard-trained neurosurgeon.
Caroline developed the field of Energy Anatomy, a science that correlates specific emotional/psychological/physical/spiritual stress patterns with diseases. Her research proved so accurate that it became the subject matter of a book co-written by Caroline and Norm: THE CREATION OF HEALTH.

Caroine Myss is a very negative woman and needs to love herself and forgive herself first and then the rest of the world. She is so much in her head that she does not know how to let go and just BEEEEE!!!!

Why people have put her on a pedestal I have NO idea. I was shocked in the past at her aggressive demeaning of someone who in loving vulnerability asked for her advice in a webcast workshop. My hope was that this had been an aberation of judgment on my part that resulted from one incident. I am saddened to see that her bitterness and sense of hopelessness seems to continue. Please pray that this woman begins to become open to the love and light that are available to her to begin to heal whatever wounds have been the source of her pain. Carolyn. . . you are VALUEd, you are needed, you are treasured, you are loved. Please allow your self to begin to acknowledge those truths as we all hold you in loving light!

This was awesome - Thank you Lilou! Carolyn Myss is very ~different~ - she has a great way of communicating her thoughts on spirituality - totally get her. I think she has so much going on - inside - she is very in touch with consolidating the spirit and physical worlds we walk in.

I love Caroline and her work. She may be harsh at times but sometimes a healthy dose of her perspective is just what I need to keep my feet on the ground while so often my head is in the clouds. I often experience a good belly laugh while listening to her as well. I greatly respect her deep wisdom, and her original delivery of that wisdom has inspired me in ways different than I would have expected. Thank you, Lilou, for the interview. Love your work!

True. I found myself triggered by her energy at times. And then she would turn it around into some deep and juicy alignment. I'm taking what resonates and discarding the rest. Even Dalai Lama says to do that. Namaste. xo

Aloha mai to all! Sorry that my post of apology didn't seem to make it. I am happy that some find her work and efforts appreciated. Personally I experienced a childhood afftected by harsh criticism and have found it my responsibility to speak up when I see that type of abuse happening to others. Intentional harshness is something that I will probably never understand. Many of my female friends are willing to tolerate than and I have never seen that result in the one being critical as every having an understanding of how unnecessary of damaging that it. Mahalo to Lilou for offering such divergent points of view as to what this shift in consciouness is about as well as a platform that allow growth by sharing of each of our inner truths.

I appreciate Caroline's style and I don't find her negative or critical. I used to find her style harsh, but over the years I have come to VALUE how rare her direct style it. I don't recall hearing her judge others ....... she calls it how she sees it. It both activates defences and cuts through them ........ I bless her and thank her for role-modelling discrimination, clarity and humility. She continually challenges me to raise my game and I hugely VALUE her. Her perspective of "in the world, but not of the world" - BRIlLIANT .......... To have this woman as a spiritual director would be amazing ........... to have her as a teacher, a gift - Thank you Lilou and thank you Caroline.

Ms. Myss appeared to not benefit from her own work in healing. She seemed to be a real bully in this interview. I have Asperger's syndrome and even I could tell that she was trying to shut Lilou down. Nevertheless, Namaste to her and Lilou both.

"That's the true spiritual path.."

Ugh. How condescending... there is no one 'true' spiritual path. Surely there are infinite...

I will be praying for this woman. May she truly find the love that is really in her heart. She is on the right track but I feel when she finds love her message will change.

CM surely is not on the Svadisthanic side of life 90% of the jellyfish inhabiting this earth are ...
What are you looking for ? false love and compassion, that excuses everything you do because after all ,you're only a human being .. .as she rightly says, Shakespeare was "only" a human being, or Sri Aurobindo ...
So are you looking for someone to give you more excuses and keep you on that comfort zone in which after a few hundred thousand lifes you will become a Budha ? (even ants will become Budhas's simply evolution) someone "sharing" personal wounds without any hesitation as if it was aboslutely normal to tell about your life to people you do not even know or see ...?
or are you desperately and ferociously determined to acheive something in this life time ,because you are so bored with it all ,you'e decided you're not coming back ?
Caroline's teaching are one of the most precious things you'll encounter in this life ,if is this is what you are determined to ....
And yes , she is a very Manipuristic person, but understand people who tend to make things happen in our world are Manipuristic people ...
Ideally more Anahata ... i can agree on that one, but please , before criticising someone whom has values , a deep sense of honour, and is transmitting unvaluable mystical charts helping hundreds if not thousands of people need to be able to do the same ....

I have been triggered by some of the things she has said in other interviews with her. Not so much this time. I call it being triggered because it is my perception of what she is saying that bothers me. In this interview, she explained her ideas well enough for me to better understand the positive meaning underlying her words. An example is what she said about using "energy" to describe the power of our thoughts. When she proposes using the word grace instead it makes me uneasy, but that's probably a good thing. I don't have a good handle on what the word grace means, which is a perfect companion to an entity, God, which is also beyond being completly described by words. As in, the Tao that can be described is not the Tao.
Myss promotes a particular line of spirituality as being essential to going deeper to a more consistent or stronger connection to a divine source. Having been a follower, or perhaps dabbler, of Quaker practice for almost 30 years, I am comfortable with the mysticism she promotes. If you favor a different path such as Buddist philosophy and practice, I could see her insistance on doing things her way as being quite annoying.
